River

The river runs along the eastern side of IvyClan territory. It's thick in many areas, but thins out in others as well.

Ghostpaw padded out to the waters edge she suddenly heard scuffling in the undergrowth behind her, she scented the air and smelt mouse.She turned slowly and silently and dropped into the hunting crouch,slidding her paws over the damp leaves.Suddenly a twig snapped under paw and the mouse shot out of the bushes.She decieded to let it go, she would try her luck with fishing.

Flashfire padded out to a bend in IvyClan's side of the river. He hadn't caught fish in awhile, so he thought he'd give it a go. He sat by the waters edge, making sure to keep his shadow from falling over the water. He tensed as he waited for the right moment.

Willowstar shuffled behind Flashfire, giving him a notice of her presence. "Mind if I join you?" She spoke to him quietly.

(Hey Ghosty, you wanna role play in a group? )

Flashfire flicked an ear back and turned around smiling as he heard Willow's soft voice. "Oh. If you want." He went back to watching the water for fish. Moments later his paw hit the water and fish flew behind him towards Willowstar. "Oh! Sorry!"

She took a step back quickly to avoid the fish then purred laughingly. "It's alright, nice catch!"

"Thanks" Flashfire purred back and turned to stop the fishes flopping with a swift bite. He silently thanked StarClan and west back to his post to fish.

Willowstar padded next to him and stopped at the waters edge. She wasn't usually one to fish, but she liked the sound of the water. She waited for a shadow to creep below her.

Ghostpaw padded down river she suddenly saw Willowstar and Flashfire fishing together and she started to felt nervous, she had only speaked with the clan leader when she had to report the things she had seen on patrols. She nodded her head to the both of them as she walked past and she sat in a patch of moss near by.

The role play with Flashfire is on pause. She will be away for 10 days and unable to role play for that length of time.

Willowstar nodded to Ghostpaw, then stood and followed her. "Ghostpaw, may I have a word? We haven't gotten to know each other since you joined the Clan, but I would like to." She stood in front of the apprentice, just a couple of feet away.

Ghostpaw was a little bit at ease now for some reason,'Of course Willowstar.I feel the same way,to be honest I would like to know you better as well," Ghostpaw moved over so the was an spot to sit in the moss,"would you like a seat?"

Willowstar nodded and sat beside the young cat. "What a convenient place to sit. How are you Ghostpaw? Are you enjoying Clan life here? I've been meaning to talk to you about that really, your life here can really be complete until you have a mentor. Am I right?" she twitched her whiskers slightly, keeping her attention on the apprentice. She payed attetion so she could listen.

"I'm fine thank you.Clan life is brilliant better than I could have ever imagined,although I do agree with you I would really like to start training," Ghostpaw was happy to be talking so openly with Willowstar.

"Good, because I would like to mentor you." She looked to Ghostpaw and watched her. "Also, I am happy you are enjoying Clan-life. I bet you will be an exceptional warrior."

"Y-you want to mentor me?" Ghostpaw felt a mixture of pride and nervousness, "I would be honoured Willowstar.I can't believe this thank you," Ghostpaw was so excited the Clan Leader was going to be her mentor!

Willowstar purred lightly. She loved the expression on Ghostpaw's face, it showed she was genuinly excited and ready to train. "Of course, I would love to. I will announce it to the Clan once we get back to camp today. I am looking forward to starting your training." She sat for a while more, glad for the chance to relax with a Clan-mate.

"thank you so much Willowstar I won't let you down!"
Ghostpaw was determined now to be the very best she could be.

"I know Ghostpaw. I wont let you down either, your training will make you a great warrior, I will be sure not to go easy on you." She seemed to joke, but was also serious. "Since we are going to be mentor and apprentice for a while, why not get to know each other? We can head back to camp and chat over a piece of fresh kill, that way I can learn what you can do already, and you can learn what I will expect of you." She twitched her whiskers in a friendly manor as she stood up, looking at Ghostpaw with kind eyes.

"That would be wonderful Willowstar,I was starting to get hungry actually,and I would never want you to go easy on me one bit," Ghostpaw felt as is she could run to the beach and back twice and still have energy to burn."Let's get back to camp then," Ghostpaw heaved herself up, stretched out her legs and walked over to Willowstar with a huge grin on her face.

Williwstar looked pleased. She was glad Ghostpaw had such a willingness to be a mentored apprentice. "Alright, let's get to camp then." Willowstar stood tall and walked towards camp, keeping a slow pace as if to invite Ghostpaw to walk beside her.

Ghostpaw bounded up to Willowstar and walk eagerly beside her she couldn't wait.
